Archival Prints at Bow Market | April 2021

Updated: Apr 8, 2021

About "Awakening"

Last August, I took a solo trip to Vermont to celebrate my birthday and unplug. So I spent a few days listening to crickets, cooking new vegan dishes, reading, and wrapped up this piece: "Awakening."

"Awakening" pushed my artistic boundaries. I challenged myself to have more patience with the details in the piece (especially her hair). I removed the limitations I put on myself around what I can or cannot create— releasing the idea of something being "perfect" - because nothing is perfect. All of this resulted in work reflecting who I am and the personal challenges I have encountered and continue to face but to overcome with grace.

The value of Archival Prints

I spent weeks choosing the best printer, paper type, and size for these prints to last up to 100 years with the proper framing and care.

Giclée — pronounced "zhee-clay" — Giclée prints represent the original artwork's highest quality archival reproduction possible. Each "Awakening" limited edition print is signed and numbered and available on beautiful fine art paper.

By using high-quality non-fading inks and acid-free papers, these prints have a life expectancy of over 100 years. The result is close as possible to its original artwork.
